The GOP's latest effort to smear Democrats as antisemites
Hey all,
My latest for +972 Magazine takes a look at how the Republican Party used an obscure parliamentary maneuver to paint Democrats as insufficiently concerned over anti-Jewish bigotry.

I also recently wrote for +972 about Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s decision to withdraw from her planned participation in an event commemorating Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, who was assassinated 25 years ago.
The controversy over AOC’s participation was fueled in part by, er, me—which was a lesson in just how powerful my Twitter account can be. I then was fingered as somehow being the ringleader in an online mob harassing AOC to pressure her to pull out of the event, which is far from the truth.
The whole saga ended up being the subject of Roger Cohen’s latest column in the New York Times. Check out his piece here for a liberal Zionist’s take.
That’s all for now—more soon!
