Top progressive firm is doing spin for NSO Group, an Israeli spy company
The rot of the Democratic establishment.
SKDKnickerbocker is a well-connected communications shop that has done work for the LGBT group Human Rights Campaign and the National Latina Institute for Reproductive Health.
Its latest client—which you won’t find lauded on their website—is something quite different: Israeli spy company NSO Group.
This surveillance firm has come under heavy fire for selling invasive spy technology to Mexico, which then used it to spy on journalists. NSO Group also sold their spyware to Saudi Arabia, which used it to invade the phones of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi’s Saudi contacts, raising the possibility — still unconfirmed — that NSO Group assisted the Saudi government’s efforts to spy on, and ultimately kill, Khashoggi.
